Our History & Vision
Even though most Belly Revelations members have moved on to other interests, bellydancing has been an important part of our lives. We have a very long history and stories to share about our journey. We hope that you will be as enthusiastic about expressing yourself through dance as we are.
Here's a sample of our activities several years ago:
December 9, 2006 ~
Belly Revelations, Clare, and Luna led an afternoon power break at Speaking of Women's Health.
in Raleigh. This event (first time in Raleigh!) combined education & pampering into a forum where women can learn from each other and become inspired to take charge of their health. Don't miss it next year!
Also December 9, 2006 ~
A student hafla with open dancing and performances by students of Qadria, Haala, Shahzaadee, and K'asha.
This event was just for students to dress up and have some fun dancing for and with each other. The beneficiary of admission price and swap table sales was Source Force which serves Triangle area cancer and AIDS patients below the poverty line.
